Thanks Paul. Not really sure how that comment got in there. My parents took me to that mall in the 70’s and I never remember it being open.

Livonia Mall was built enclosed it was never an “open” mall as you stated.

I remember my grandparents taking me to Macomb Mall as a kid, and getting Orange Julius drinks. I always looked forward to that, and for a long time never saw Orange Julius anywhere else but there. That picture you posted looks familiar; that’s exactly what the sign looked like in front of Macomb Mall, with Sears and Crowleys signs on it.
